EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN
MissionMode Executive Chairman, Andrew “Flip Filipowski, is one of the world's most successful high-tech entrepreneurs, philanthropists, and industry visionaries. The former COO of Cullinet, the largest software company of the 1980's, was also the founder and CEO of PLATINUM technology, inc. Flip grew PLATINUM into the 8th largest software company in the world at the time of its sale to Computer Associates for $4 billion dollars, the largest such transaction for a software company at the time. Upside Magazine named him one of the Top 100 Most Influential People in Information Technology and the Triad Business Journal recently named him as one of the 2008's 75 Most Influential People in the Triad. A recipient of Entrepreneur of the Year Awards from both Ernst & Young and Merrill Lynch, Flip has also been awarded the Young President’s Organization Legacy Award and the Anti-Defamation League's Torch of Liberty award for his work fighting hate on the Internet.
Malcolm Hafner
PRESIDENT AND CEO
Malcolm Hafner provides overall leadership to MissionMode, including strategic direction, planning and execution of the company's growth and development initiatives. He also leads the international sales organization.
Prior to MissionMode, Malcolm was the CEO of Global Recall, an international knowledge management products company. He successfully led Global Recall through sales and product growth and finally through acquisition into divine inc. in 2001. While at divine, Malcolm led the knowledge management products group, penetrating new global markets, followed by a role on the European Management Board charged with accelerating sales across its product range. Prior to Global Recall, Malcolm held various management roles in professional services, sales and consulting at companies such as Interleaf and LBMS.
Matthew Roszak
VICE-CHAIRMAN
Mr. Roszak is co-founder and managing partner of SilkRoad Equity, a global private investment firm. He has spent over 17 years in private equity and venture capital and invested in excess of $1 billion of capital in a broad range of industries, with experience in executing a broad scope of transactions including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures; corporate and transactional financing, including private equity, venture capital, mezzanine and conventional financings; public offerings, private placements and financial restructurings. Previously, Mr Roszak was a principal with Advent International, one of the world's largest private equity firms. Prior to its sale to DirectTV (NASDAQ: DTV), Mr. Roszak served as a director of 180 Connect (TSX: CNCT) for five years, and was chairman of the audit and compensation committees. Mr. Roszak is a director and beneficial owner for various companies, including Barefoot Landing, HardMetrics, InterAct911, MissionMode, Onramp Branding, Pendulab, SilkRoad technology, SolidSpace, TrueLook and Viwawa. Mr. Roszak earned his bachelor's degree in economics from Lake Forest College.
