MissionMode Announces Mobile Enhancements for iOS and Android Users

CHICAGO, May. 1, 2015 — MissionMode, provider of innovative enterprise software solutions for incident management and mass notification, has launched a new release of MissionMode Mobile, a mobile application that enables anytime, anywhere crisis management. MissionMode Mobile extends the capabilities of the company’s core web-based applications Situation Center™  for simplified incident management and Notification Center™ which provides intelligent emergency notification.

MissionMode Mobile includes a variety of unique features that dramatically improves an organization’s ability to manage unplanned events. During a crisis, responders are typically away from their desks. They can’t use traditional crisis management software since they are not in front of a computer. MissionMode Mobile enables responders and other team members to share critical incident information and manage response from the palm of their hands. Some of the unique advantages of the MissionMode Mobile suite include:
  • 2-Way, Rich Media Field Communications – text, photos, video and form sharing
  • Unlimited length text messages
  • Superior text to speech conversion
  • Real-time crowdsourcing of critical incident information
  • GPS location-based messaging and reporting

Now both Android and iOS enabled smartphones and tablets can enjoy full and seamless access to the MissionMode Situation Center™ Suite.  Enhancements have made it easier to manage company-wide deployments of the mobile application with a “New User / Forgot Password” link that simplifies mobile user access and sign-up.

New Version of MissionMode Situation Center™ Suite
The current release also debuts the Send Now feature, which enables MissionMode alert creators to send a pre-assigned template from their MissionMode application home screen with a single click. Additionally with the Send Now functionality, they can send any available template with one click from the existing create page.

System administrators will appreciate new enhancements that simplify integration.  The API toolkit now includes two new REST calls to interact with active alerts, and testing is nearly complete for new router software.
