MissionMode Executive Chairman, Andrew “Flip Filipowski, is one of the world’s most successful high-tech entrepreneurs, philanthropists, and industry visionaries. The former COO of Cullinet, the largest software company of the 1980’s, was also the founder and CEO of PLATINUM technology, inc. Flip grew PLATINUM into the 8th largest software company in the world at the time of its sale to Computer Associates for $4 billion dollars, the largest such transaction for a software company at the time. Upside Magazine named him one of the Top 100 Most Influential People in Information Technology and the Triad Business Journal recently named him as one of the 2008’s 75 Most Influential People in the Triad. A recipient of Entrepreneur of the Year Awards from both Ernst & Young and Merrill Lynch, Flip has also been awarded the Young President’s Organization Legacy Award and the Anti-Defamation League’s Torch of Liberty award for his work fighting hate on the Internet.
Mr. Roszak is founding partner of Tally Capital, a venture capital firm focused on the digital currency ecosystem. Mr. Roszak is also co-founder and managing partner of SilkRoad Equity, a global private investment firm. Previously, Mr. Roszak was a principal with Advent International, one of the world’s largest private equity firms. Prior to its sale to DirectTV (NASDAQ: DTV), Mr. Roszak served as a director of 180 Connect (TSX: CNCT) for five years, and was chairman of the audit and compensation committees. Mr. Roszak is a board member and beneficial owner of various companies, including: Barefoot Landing, Eboost, InterAct911, MissionMode, Onramp, Pendulab, SolidSpace, Tally Mine, TrueLook and Viwawa. Mr. Roszak has spent over 18 years in private equity and venture capital with Keystone Capital Partners, Advent International, Platinum Venture Partners, and has invested over $1 billion of capital (from start-up to IPO) in a broad range of industries. Mr. Roszak is a member of the National Venture Capital Association, and a lifetime member of the Bitcoin Foundation and Bitcoin Association.
VICE PRESIDENT, OPERATIONS
Jason Zimmerman is MissionMode’s Vice President, Operations leading the team responsible for both pre and post-sales client support. An accomplished emergency management professional with nearly 16 years of experience, he is a Certified Emergency Manager and holds a Master Exercise Practitioner Program certificate. Mr. Zimmerman began his emergency management and business continuity career as the Walt Disney World (WDW) Co. Emergency Operations Manager, and then gained public health experience at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. He supported a variety of private and public sector companies as an Regional Emergency Management Practice Manager for SAIC including leading the development of the Super Bowl XLV Public Safety After Action Reports. At MissionMode, Mr. Zimmerman brings unmatched customer focus and industry experience, to his emergency management and business continuity peers. His passion for technology coupled with real-world emergency management experience allow him to easily understand prospective and current customer needs and objectives. Mr. Zimmerman has a degree in Administration of Justice from the Pennsylvania State University and a Masters of Business Administration from the Rollins College.
