Jason Zimmerman, General Manager & COOJason Zimmerman

General Manager & COO

Jason Zimmerman is MissionMode’s Chief Operations Officer leading the team responsible for both pre and post-sales client support.  An accomplished emergency management professional with nearly 16 years of experience, he is a Certified Emergency Manager and holds a Master Exercise Practitioner Program certificate. Mr. Zimmerman began his emergency management and business continuity career as the Walt Disney World (WDW) Co. Emergency Operations Manager, and then gained public health experience at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. He supported a variety of private and public sector companies as a Regional Emergency Management Practice Manager for SAIC including leading the development of the Super Bowl XLV Public Safety After Action Reports. At MissionMode, Mr. Zimmerman brings unmatched customer focus and industry experience, to his emergency management and business continuity peers. His passion for technology coupled with real-world emergency management experience allows him to easily understand prospective and current customer needs and objectives. Mr. Zimmerman has a degree in Administration of Justice from the Pennsylvania State University and a Masters of Business Administration from the Rollins College.

Walter Tomala, VP of FinanceWalter Tomala

Walter Tomala is the Vice President of Finance at MissionMode Solutions, where he manages the company’s finances and responsible for financial reporting. He has 20 years plus experience in Finance and Accounting working in the private sector. He holds a CPA and BS in Accounting from University of Illinois – Urbana.

 

Joe Larson, Vice President of DevelopmentJoe Larson

Joe Larson is MissionMode’s Vice President of Development and leads our software development team. He has more than 35 years of industry experience going back to Sperry (now Unisys). Mr. Larson worked in Information Technology for a variety of industries including retail, food distribution, and technology services. He also spent 12 years as a consultant and has been with MissionMode since 2003.

Dedicated to customer success, Grant is a strategic business planner and outstanding team player that delivers exceptional results. He leads the strategy and execution of MissionMode’s customer service team, ensuring a positive experience and adoption of MissionMode.

 

Courtney Ring, Director of Client ServicesCourtney Ring

Director of Client Services

Leading the strategy and execution of MissionMode’s Client Services Team, Courtney Ring works with new and potential clients while envisioning the efficiency gains and ensuring positive results for clients through the adoption of MissionMode. Ms. Ring is a recognized and accomplished emergency management professional and Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) through the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM) with more than 13 years of emergency management and business continuity experience. She began her career in emergency management working as the Bioterrorism Coordinator for the City/County of Lubbock, TX – gaining experience in not only emergency management but also public health preparedness as she was responsible for coordinating and administering the CDC’s Strategic National Stockpile for the West Texas community and Texas Tech University. She then went on to serve as the Senior Planning Coordinator and Public Information Officer for Fort Bend County, TX, where she supported the County’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) through all major and minor county and regional activations in the role of Planning Section Chief – including Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Ms. Ring left local government and entered the world of emergency management and public health consulting for both private and public sector agencies throughout the U.S. for a period of almost 9 years – working for recognized firms such as O’Brien’s Response Management (now Witt O’Brien’s), SAIC, and Hagerty Consulting – assisting clients with planning, training, and exercising needs to meet their organization’s emergency management requirements. Due to Ms. Ring well-rounded and diverse background in emergency management, she is able to quickly understand clients’ needs and objectives and provide them with true hands-on support at MissionMode. Ms. Ring holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with a minor in Chemistry, as well as a Master of Public Administration Degree from Texas Tech University.
